THE SAN DIEGO BULLETPROOF PUPPY TRAINING PACKAGE
Course Overview
- Environmental confidence: We work on safe, gradual exposure to unfamiliar surfaces, city sounds, movement, and new places so your puppy can learn to stay engaged with you.
- Surfaces and sounds: Practice on grass, grates, steps, curbs, and smooth floors, with traffic, engines, and sirens introduced at a distance your puppy can handle.
- Everyday skills: Potty training, bite redirection, early obedience, play, and clear communication still matter; they support the broader goal of an environmentally sound dog.
- Program: 8-week program (2x per week)
- Puppy: Must be 16 weeks or younger to enroll.

The Bulletproof Puppy Package
Teaching a puppy to sit is a fundamental skill. But raising a truly environmentally sound dog requires a specialized approach. An environmentally sound dog is one that remains calm and confident when faced with high-stress triggers—such as fireworks, sirens, and sudden loud noises. The first few months of a puppy’s life are an essential non-renewable window for development.
Initial One-on-One Evaluation
This is a 1.5 hour in-home evaluation. All dog teams (family member + dog) must meet with Mary before booking any lessons or packages (except for the puppy package). Mary will assess your pup and create a personalized training plan based on your team’s specific needs.

Behavior Modification
Designed for San Diego dogs struggling with reactivity, anxiety, fear, or aggression, our Behavior Modification program uses structured, proven methods to create calm and reliable behavior. We identify the root cause of unwanted behaviors and implement clear, consistent training to rebuild confidence, control impulses, and restore balance.
- Program: 6-week program (1x per week)

Obedience Training
Our Obedience Training program develops reliable, real-world manners through clear communication and structured practice. Dogs learn essential commands such as sit, stay, recall, and leash control while improving focus and impulse control. The goal is dependable behavior at home, in public, and around distractions.

Dog Sport Training & Scent Work
Build focus and teamwork through scent work and other dog sport activities. Group offerings vary by date. See current classes and RSVP on Meetup, or follow the group for new dates. For private sport training goals, contact Mary to discuss a plan.
Group & Pack Walks
Join our community pack walks through San Diego Dog Training & Adventures on Meetup.
