You can keep practicing sit, recall, and potty training as your puppy grows. The early window for helping a puppy feel safe on unfamiliar surfaces and around everyday noise is much shorter. Bulletproof Puppy is my San Diego private training program for building an environmentally sound dog: one who can meet the real world with curiosity and confidence, not just obey cues in the living room.

BULLETPROOF PUPPY · SAN DIEGO

Build an environmentally sound puppy.

I’m Mary. You and your puppy train directly with me. We put the early weeks to work building solid foundations for surfaces, sounds, movement, and new places—while I teach you how to read your puppy and keep each experience manageable.

Noise and surface foundations come first

Puppies go through a first fear period around 8 to 11 weeks and may experience another during adolescence. What they learn in those windows can shape how they respond to the world for years. I help your puppy build confidence around lawnmowers, leaf blowers, horns, sirens, wildlife and other real-life sounds, and across asphalt, outdoor grates, stairs, ramps and safe wobbly surfaces. We work at a distance and pace your puppy can handle; frightening a puppy into exposure is never the goal. I teach you to read your puppy and keep building these foundations as your dog matures.

You learn alongside your puppy

If you are looking for a San Diego puppy coach, you and your puppy work directly with me in your real environment. I show you how to read your puppy, build a workable practice routine, and handle the moments between lessons. Our private sessions address the issues that matter in your household.

I bring more than 20 years of dog training and experience competing across multiple dog sports to puppy foundations: clear communication, confidence, and skills that can support the life you want with your dog, whether that means calm family outings or a future in sport.
